Tender and marbled, the Kagoshima beef looks a lot like the Kobe beef. It receives almost similar breeding conditions, but the difference is that the bovine population is larger, which encourages a bigger exportation towards Europe.

Exceptional delicacy, the Kagoshima meat is perfect for all the meat lovers on a budget who still want to experience a surprising and original gustative experience.

Cooking and degustation advices

  • Leave the meat at room temperature for 3 hours before cooking
  • Before cooking: Season to taste with salt and pepper on both sides
  • Don’t add any fat in the cooking pan
  • Cook the meat rare (advised)
  • After cooking: let the meat relaxed for 5 minutes before savoring it
